AML and KYC Policy

Overview

At MotionTrade Private Wealth Management, trust is the foundation of every client relationship. As stewards of our clients' wealth, we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of integrity, transparency, and regulatory compliance across all our investment and wealth management services.

Our Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) framework is designed to protect our clients, our business, and the broader financial system from money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud, sanctions violations, corruption, and other forms of illicit financial activity.

Client Identification

We may request government-issued identification, proof of address, entity formation documents, trust documentation, tax identifiers, and beneficial ownership records. Information may be verified through documentary and non-documentary means, including independent databases or screening tools.

Source of Funds and Risk Review

Where appropriate, MotionTrade may request information regarding source of wealth, source of funds, expected transaction activity, account purpose, geographic connections, and related parties. Enhanced due diligence may apply to higher-risk relationships, politically exposed persons, complex ownership structures, or cross-border activity.

Monitoring and Escalation

  • Accounts and instructions may be reviewed for unusual, inconsistent, or suspicious activity.
  • Sanctions, watchlist, and adverse media screening may be performed during onboarding and periodically thereafter.
  • MotionTrade may decline, restrict, suspend, or terminate a relationship where required information is not provided or risk concerns cannot be resolved.

Recordkeeping and Cooperation

We maintain records in accordance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements and may disclose information to regulators, law enforcement, custodians, or other authorized parties where required or permitted by law.
